Prayer & Meditation Encouragement

In our modern, digital world, it's easy to work around the clock: our cell phones are always on and everyone expects their text messages and emails to be answered instantaneously. You might even crawl into bed with your phone, checking out your Facebook updates or playing a game to "wind down". It's safe to say that for most of us, our work, and our technology can consume our days and our nights.

Citizens of the ancient world saw no such conveniences, of coursse. They entertained themselves in other ways, usually in groups: true face-to-face fellowship at its finest. Even still, they managed to be distracted from the ways of the Lord.

God wants our attention. God wants to be He who consumes your thoughts everyday and everynight.

Through regular prayer meeting and reflection on Scripture, it becomes possible to spend our days and nights thinking godly things.

Christ Cornerstone koinonia invites you to join our prayer meeting every Wednesday, 7:30pm-9:00pm, or you can send your prayer request on this page.

You can also send your prayer requests through email at [email protected]

Nothing is quite so powerful as prayer as we take time to seek not only the "hand" of God, but also as we seek the "face" of God (Who He is).

CCK believes God STILL answers prayer, yet we live in a world that is so fast paced and filled with distractions that the only times we seem to pray is when we are going through difficult times, or possibly before we partake of a meal!

God wants us to have a relationship with Him in which our natural thought is to commune with Him and it should be the priority in our lives.

CCK believes that PRAYER should be our "First Resort" instead of our "Last Resort".
